TASMANIA - South East

It all begins with an idea. Tasmania is close to us, is such a food bowl, is uber instagrammable and is a whole lot cooler (temperature) than sunny old Queensland. Which makes it high up on the destination list for a 'wedgie' long distance cycle journey. It's just not that cycle friendly yet - so there was an enormous amount of planning in the background getting distances right, fabulous roof over head accomodation options and avoiding the highways and logging trucks. By the way - they are very large. I have a new appreciation for how a snail feels on a bike path.
