A destination made for the cyclists among us who appreciate the finest things in life. Best wine. Best Food. Beautiful weather. Incredible countryside and fine accomodation. There is good reason the head of Butterfield and Robertson set up headquarters here. The most pleasurable all round cycling experience I have ever had. Bucolic days among the vineyards, cyclists sharing trails avec l'ouvrier viticoles in their wee trucks. We settled ourselves a few days in the north and around 5 nights in the south riding the local loops as per our tours & tastings. 

We shared a village foot bath, a pannier full of baguettes and fromage in the grounds of a mill house before heading into the hills to a truly magnificent estate for Michelin Starred everything. One night was NOT long enough....

 Fellow Francophile wine lovers - approach this route with with caution - it is most likely you will not wish to return home!
